This TV is not only affordable on Amazon, it is extremely reliable!!  It has been 3 years since we have owned our 40" TCL Roku Smart TV. Before we bought this however, we had gone through quite the disappointing adventure! We had bought a smart TV that we will call "No Name" because it was sold at Walmart on Black Friday. Some strange name, I can't remember.  It had lasted all of 4 months before it started glitching out on us. That TV was used only at night time as it was in our bedroom. It never had a lot of wear and tear either. One day it just stopped turning on!! Like WTH! So after the phone calls to the company, we came away with the knowledge that supposedly the mother board in the TV had fried. FRIED! like WTF do you mean fried??!! its BRAND NEW!! Anyway, that was a TERRIBLE experience and a waste of money. We didn't get anything back for what we paid. The best part is, I had the pleasure of dropping it out of our 3rd story window upstairs from the bedroom. There was something so gratifying about it, as if the headache I had acquired from it had literally just vanished with the TV as it disappeared completely into the snowbank below.
